Hands of Compassion is a weekly ministry of First that is open on Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The ministry provides food, clothing, and most importantly the hope that only Jesus Christ can bring. In 2019 Hands of Compassion gave out 2,960 bags of food (66,039 pounds), distributed 66 Bibles and saw 8 decisions made following Jesus Christ as Lord.
James 1 is a ministry that provides assistance for adopting families, adopted children, and families that are fostering. This ministry is involved in the many aspects of fostering/adoption and provides financial assistance, training, and guidance through the processes of fostering/adoption.
The Hope Center is a non-profit that is housed at our Family Life Center. First has been its strongest support for the 13+ years it has been serving the people of Greenville with GED and computer-based learning.
